By accessing and using MotivePass, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.
MotivePass is an online event ticketing platform that enables event organizers to create, promote, and sell tickets to events, and allows attendees to discover and purchase tickets to these events.
To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled. Ticket prices are inclusive of applicable taxes. We reserve the right to cancel any ticket order that we believe to be fraudulent or in violation of these terms.
Event organizers are responsible for the accuracy of event information, delivery of the promised event experience, and compliance with all applicable laws. Organizers must process refunds in accordance with their stated refund policy.
You agree not to: (a) use our platform for any illegal purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any accounts or systems; (c) interfere with the proper functioning of the platform; (d) resell tickets purchased through our platform without authorization; (e) use automated systems to access the platform without permission.
All content on MotivePass, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of MotivePass or its licensors and is protected by copyright laws.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MotivePass's total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the platform shall not exceed the total service fees paid by you to MotivePass in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. MotivePass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or any events listed on the platform.
All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organizer. If an event is cancelled, full refunds will be processed automatically to the original payment method within 14 business days. If an event is rescheduled, your ticket will remain valid for the new date. To request a refund for a cancelled event, contact support@motivepass.com.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the parties cannot reach an agreement within thirty (30) days, either party may submit the dispute to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Mediation Act, 2023 of Nigeria. The arbitration shall be conducted in Lagos, Nigeria, and the language of arbitration shall be English. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any legal proceedings arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
MotivePass shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, power failures, or internet disruptions.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
